I joined Eckermann Conveyancers in 2012 but began at Eckermann Property Forms in 2011. As a Registered Conveyancer and Team Leader of our three metropolitan offices (Adelaide CBD, Gilles Plains and Glenelg) I have oversight of our conveyancers and client managers and that requires me to keep abreast of the legislative and procedural changes impacting the industry.
I’m acutely aware of the importance of the conveyancing process in the successful completion of property transactions. We’re like the glue that holds everything together – liaising with our purchaser and vendor clients, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, financial institutions, Land Services SA and other parties. We need to provide our clients with very clear and specific instructions and give them the right level of comfort that theirs is the most important matter in our day. I really hope that’s the impression we leave with them and guiding my teams to provide that level of excellence is key to doing my role successfully.
Away from work I like to travel with my husband and to spend time with my family. We’re fanatical Port Power supporters too – much of our winters is spent either at games or watching on TV if we can’t make the trip interstate.
What Eckermanns values mean to me
Acknowledging and understanding that everyone’s role in a property transaction is important and plays an integral part in the mutual goal of completing settlement.
Being transparent and following through on promises whilst also respecting the policies and processes in place.
Creating solutions that address all aspects of the issue, are practical and also consider the emotional impact on the parties involved.
Teamwork and Collaboration
Working with all stakeholders to reach a mutual goal and being willing to go ‘above and beyond’ for the benefit of the team goal.
Striving to provide an outstanding and equal experience to all clients each and every day.
Providing guidance and easy to understand instructions tailored to the individual to explain the requirements and steps for a successful transaction.
Being proactive and keeping ahead of change while striving to be considered as a leader within the industry.
