Born and bred in Adelaide, my wife and I and our three “adult” children live in Hawthorn.
After completing my Commerce degree at Uni of SA, I became a Chartered Accountant and have been working in public practice and more recently in Commercial Executive roles, for over 30 years.
I am loving my time here at Eckermanns, as I work closely with the ownership and executive team, not just reporting on past results, but playing a role in the future direction of the business in analysing all growth and improvement opportunities, as well as challenges, as they present to us.
What Eckermanns values mean to me?
Always thinking of better ways to do things. Please don’t say to me “because this is how we’ve always done it”
My team sport background means I inherently understand the importance of teamwork. To be successful in business, it is impossible to do it all yourself. I enjoy learning from those I work closely with.
Respect is a right, but over time through ongoing interactions needs to be earnt. Respect leads to trust, which is so important in my role.
