It’s hard to get tired of classic tales and for us, our favourite is the Conveyancer’s Christmas Carol.
It seems that every year, despite Christmas falling in summer in Australia, a chill goes down the spine of Real Estate agents working over the holiday season when they dread signing up a buyer only to discover that conveyancers are closed.
We are already hearing the chatter in the back channels, so we thought we’d better roll out this quick reminder that Eckermann Conveyancers keeps its conveyancing elves busy right through the holiday season.
Conveyancers of Christmas past
Part of the territory of being the biggest conveyancing firm in South Australia, is the ability to juggle staff rosters so we can maintain a professional service while the rest of society takes time out.
We do this because during this “time out”, many South Australians have time to think about their assets and businesses and goals, and many use the holidays for buying or selling homes, or restructuring business arrangements; tasks where conveyancers are crucial.
We have long understood this and have always maintained a team of conveyancers to keep everything moving toward settlement while everyone else settles down around tables and picnic blankets over summer.
Conveyancers of Christmas future
This year, as always, Eckermann Conveyancers will be on deck while you’re decking the halls.
In fact, only three days of operations will be affected by the holiday season and, even then, we will still be trading for most of those days, as follows:
- All days leading up to December 27, business as usual
- Wednesday, December 27, open until 2pm
- Thursday, December 28, open until 2pm
- Friday, December 29, opening until 2pm
- All days from December 30 onwards will be business as usual
This approach means we can open new files, keep current transactions moving, and liaise with third parties like banks and the Land Titles Office, as needed.
Conveyancers of Christmas future
We have no intentions of changing our policy in Christmases to come.
We have found Real Estate agents, vendors, and purchasers are forever grateful when they discover that we stay open while everybody else takes time out, and that means the world to us, such appreciation is like having all our Christmases come at once!
