I am a Director of Eckermann Lawyers. With a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Adelaide I have extensive legal experience and expertise advising a diverse client base on a range of business, commercial, property and hospitality matters.
I specialise in:
- agribusiness, including farm and renewable energy leasing;
- commercial and transactional advice to the hospitality, tourism and wine industries including all aspects of liquor and gaming licensing;
- commercial leasing;
- property development; and
- sale and purchase of commercial, industrial and rural land and businesses.
With a specialist interest in hospitality and licensed venues I act for private and SME clients as well as large entities on matters ranging from major metropolitan and country hotels with liquor and gaming, to restaurants, wineries, cellar doors and vineyards. I continue to be involved in the burgeoning craft brewing, distilling, and boutique winery industries and specialise in applications to the Office of Liquor and Gambling Commissioner, and Licensing Court work.
I also advise on development assessment processes and procedures and assist licensees, landlords and residents with applications and advice relating to the Development Act, Gaming Machines Act and Liquor Licensing Act. I advise regularly on compulsory acquisitions including under the Land Acquisition Act.
Before joining Eckermann Lawyers in 2018, I worked at some of Adelaide’s most well established legal firms providing hospitality, commercial and property advice to private, corporate and local government clients. I continue to pro-actively support the Eckermann Lawyers’ and Eckermann Conveyancer’s teams in the continued delivery of client service excellence, in line with the Eckermann Group’s values.
