I’m the voice on the phone and the face at the desk in our Flinders Street office and my job on the frontline is to make sure that everyone who walks in the door or calls us feels welcome, understood and supported.
My career background has nothing to do with property. I was a radio journalist for 13 years, starting out at 5AD in Adelaide and working in Melbourne, Newcastle and Sydney radio stations before segueing into PR with accounting firms. In 2001 I left Marketing at KPMG in Melbourne and helped my spouse launch Australia’s first internet platform for radio advertising.  Now I’ve come full circle: single, back in Adelaide and in a new job.
One of the things I enjoy most at Eckermanns is the variety of clients I meet and greet and the bustling and supportive environment in the office.
What Eckermanns Values mean to me?
Timely Solutions
In my role, timely solutions mean being prepared ahead of time: ensuring our clients enter a welcoming environment, making sure I’m smiling when I answer the phone and keeping the Adelaide office stocked and tidy so it’s a pleasant and efficient environment for staff as well as clients.
Collaboration
With the increasing use of technology in our lives, I believe the personal touch still delivers superior service. At Eckermanns I’ve found all the staff make an effort to help each other every day, so we’re constantly improving the experience, knowledge and skills we deliver to our clients.
Trust
I think trust can be a much-maligned concept used by advertisers, lobbyists and salespeople because they think it looks good on an ad, a website, or packaging. At Eckermanns I see trust demonstrated every day by staff who are equally professional, honest and courteous to each other as they are to their clients.
