With a global career in marketing within the agribusiness sector, I’ve had the privilege of living and working in both South Africa and the United States. During a career break, I decided to pursue a Law degree, which led me to discover my passion for conveyancing. After completing my degree, I gained valuable experience in debt collection and mortgage processing within the banking industry, but my interest in property transactions remained strong. That motivated me to complete the Conveyancing course and start working on residential and business transfers—a role I find incredibly rewarding. Outside of work, I enjoy quality time with my wife and three daughters, relaxing at the beach, staying active at the gym, reading, and following the Premier League.
What Eckermanns Values mean to me?
Timely Solutions
Delays in property transactions due to financial complications, legal issues, third-party involvements, or administrative complexities happen from time to time. When they occur, I believe it’s important to be honest with clients about the reasons and the expected timeframe to resolve them. Managing expectations in these situations can reduce frustrations and maintain integrity and transparency.
Collaboration
Property transfers involve numerous stakeholders, and miscommunication or conflicting priorities can lead to misunderstandings and delays. I find that adopting a collaborative approach is crucial to overcoming these challenges. Regular follow-ups via phone or email, shared calendars, and designated points of contact help keep communication clear and ensure everyone is on the same page.
Trust
As a conveyancing professional, staying informed about changing regulations and maintaining a high level of diligence is essential. Even the smallest oversight can lead to legal headaches or financial losses. If errors, misinterpretations, or incorrect reporting occur, they can cause delays or disputes that are avoidable with careful review. Being precise with every detail not only protects my client’s interests but also builds trust and reliability throughout the conveyancing process.
