At Eckermanns, we take pride in being an integral part of the communities in which we operate. We recognise the importance of giving back and we’re big believers in the benefits of community sport. Whether through local footy and netball clubs, schools, charity golf days, cricket, bowling, or basketball clubs, being a part of these organisations and events is a privilege for us.
In addition to our involvement in community sport, several years ago, we made the decision to shift our focus during the holiday season from sending gifts to clients to making meaningful donations to charities. These donations are driven by the passions and values of our team members, who nominate the organisations they hold close to their hearts. This process ensures that our contributions are not only significant but deeply personal to those within our organisation.
Here’s more information about the charities we proudly support:

With breast cancer being the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women, the NBCF’s work is crucial in saving lives, ensuring that more women can live longer, healthier lives.
The Childhood Cancer Association provides practical, hands-on support for children with cancer and their families. The organisation helps alleviate the significant emotional and financial burdens that childhood cancer places on families, offering accommodation, counselling, and resources to assist them in navigating a very challenging time. Their work is critical in improving the quality of life for both the children affected and their families, helping them feel supported and cared for throughout their journey.
The RSPCA South Australia (SA) is dedicated to the protection and welfare of animals, focusing on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned and abused animals. They advocate for animal rights and work tirelessly to enforce laws against cruelty, while also educating the community about responsible pet ownership. By supporting the RSPCA SA, we help them continue their mission to give animals the care they deserve and ensure they find loving homes.
Carrie’s Beanies for Brain Cancer was founded by Australian television presenter Carrie Bickmore after losing her husband to the disease. The organisation raises funds for brain cancer research, with a focus on improving survival rates and treatment options. Brain cancer receives minimal government funding compared to other cancers, making this charity’s work incredibly impactful in filling the gap and driving research that could lead to life-saving discoveries.
Melanoma Institute Australia (MIA) leads the world in melanoma research, education, and treatment. Melanoma is one of Australia’s deadliest cancers, with the country having the highest rates globally. MIA is dedicated to changing these statistics by providing innovative treatment options, conducting breakthrough research, and spreading awareness about early detection and prevention strategies. Their goal is to ultimately eliminate melanoma as a cause of death in Australia.
Lifeline Australia is a national charity providing 24/7 crisis support and suicide prevention services. Mental health and suicide are pressing issues in Australia, and Lifeline plays a critical role in offering immediate help to those in distress. They provide confidential, non-judgmental support, helping individuals navigate difficult times and reducing the stigma around mental health. By contributing to Lifeline, we help ensure that more people have access to life-saving resources.

Variety Club SA helps children achieve their full potential, providing grants for medical supplies, mobility equipment, and educational resources. Their work changes lives, enabling children to overcome obstacles and participate fully in life, and we’re proud to help them continue their mission of enriching the lives of children in need.
Still Aware is an Adelaide-based charity focused on reducing stillbirth and raising awareness about stillbirth prevention. Founded in 2014 by Claire Foord, a mother who experienced a stillbirth herself, the organisation aims to provide education and resources to expectant parents, healthcare professionals, and the general public to help prevent stillbirths.
Through campaigns, workshops, and partnerships with medical professionals, Still Aware seeks to reduce the incidence of stillbirth. The organisation encourages parents to “trust their instincts” when it comes to foetal movements and to seek medical attention if they notice changes or reductions in movements during pregnancy.
