As an Associate at Eckermann Lawyers, I specialise in property, commercial, and estate litigation, bringing a wealth of experience to the table. Before joining Eckermann Lawyers, I worked in a general practise firm, across a diverse range of legal areas, including commercial, civil litigation, criminal law, wills and estates and family law. This broad background has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of various legal domains, allowing me to provide well-rounded and effective representation to my clients. My transition to specialise in property, commercial and estate litigation at Eckermann Lawyers reflects my passion for these areas of law and my dedication to delivering exceptional outcomes for my clients in these specialised fields.
My passion for local government, property and development is a driving force in my professional life. Currently, I hold positions as an independent member on two local regional assessment panels, where I play a pivotal role in evaluating and determining development applications. This hands-on involvement allows me to contribute directly to shaping the landscape of my community, ensuring new developments align with the needs and aspirations of our local residents while also adhering to regulatory standards. My experience on these panels not only deepens my understanding of the complexities of property and development but also reinforces my commitment to fostering sustainable growth and positive change within my region.
I pride myself in my role as a client advocate. For me, it is not just about providing legal representation; it’s about being a trusted ally and support for my clients during what can often be a challenging time. I prioritise understanding my client’s needs, concerns, and goals, ensuring that they feel heard and supported every step of the way. Whether I am navigating complex legal processes, advocating their rights, or simply offering a compassionate ear, I am dedicated to delivering the highest level of care and support to my clients.
Outside of law I have a strong sense of community spirit and a genuine interest in contributing to various local initiatives that are aimed at fostering growth and prosperity in the region. Whether it is volunteering for local causes, participating in community events, or supporting grassroots efforts, I am committed to seeing my community thrive.
