I am a computer enthusiast and began with a book called HTML Complete when I was around 10 years old. Over the next few years came an interest in graphics calculator programming, then Linux. Studying Computer Science at University, everything just seemed to fit together perfectly.
With 10 years of industry experience behind me, I joined Eckermanns in 2022. I have an interest in system analysis and interactions and I like making things fit together and fit together well. This goes beyond just computers for me and extends into electronics, mechanical systems, economics and many other disciplines.
I have a family with two young children whom I love dearly. For the moment they absorb all of my spare time. In future, when I can grab some free time, I’m planning to explore sustainable gardening.
What Eckermanns Values mean to me?
Timely Solutions
I believe software should assist the user and deliver what is promised when it is promised. Communication is key to ensuring that expectations are met.
Collaboration
A team is greater than the sum of its parts, but only when everyone is working together. The more frequently we communicate, the more we align as a team and can anticipate problems before they get too big.
Trust
Trust is built on honesty and delivering on promises. Knowing what can be done is integral to delivery of the final product and keeping promises. In professional practice, the key really is communication. Trust is built through kept promises, achievable promises are made with transparency, and transparency requires communication.
