I joined Eckermann Conveyancers in 2014. Before that I worked in customer care with a mortgage broker so while that wasn’t conveyancing, it is an adjacent industry so conveyancing was familiar to me.
The best part of my role is helping clients with their questions and queries in the leadup to settlement so that they can have the same confidence that I do that their transaction will be a smooth one. It’s such a stressful time that whatever I can do to calm the waters is going to provide value to our vendors and purchasers.
I liaise with a really broad range of stakeholders for each transaction so I get a lot of variety engaging with brokers, lenders, agents and our clients.
When I’m not at work I like to relax spending time with my family, reading a good book and doing short weekend trips out of the city.
